Export Council of Nepal (ECON) organized a 'Friendship Bowling Tournament' on May 13, 2007 at 1905 Bowling Boulevard, Kantipath, Kathmandu. The tournament was organized with the aim to strengthen friendship and to develop business relation among ECON and Business Partners that was very entertaining and successful. The representatives of ECON and ECON Business Partners; DHL Express Nepal Pvt. Ltd., Bank of Kathmandu Ltd., Hotel Marshyangdi and Everest Insurance Company Ltd. were participated in the tournament.

At the beginning, Raju Shrestha, President of ECON, welcomed all the participants and highlighted the objectives of this tournament. ECON distributed prizes to top three teams. Hotel Marshagndi, Bank of Kathmandu Ltd. and DHL Express Nepal Pvt. Ltd. who won the first, second and third prize respectively. Likewise, Mr. Lakpa Gurung and Mrs. Chhetey Gurung of Hotel Marshayangdi were awarded by the highest scorer male and female award respectively. ECON distributed the 'Certificate of Participation' to all the players.

Radhesh Pant Managing Director of Bank of Kathmandu Ltd., Mukunda Malla Country Manager of DHL Express Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and representatives of Hotel Marshyangdi and Everest Insurance Company appreciated this effort of ECON and committed to support ECON in the days ahead as well. Babu Kaji Shrestha, Treasurer of ECON, expressed the vote of thanks. Hari Bahadur Karki, Secretary of ECON, conducted the prizes and certificates distribution program.
